I am a graduate of Case Western Reserve University with a master’s degree in Social work and is a Licensed Master Social Worker. She also holds a certificate in Addictions Counseling from Pennsylvania State University, and certificate in Women’s Leadership from the University of Delaware.
During her 41 years in the field of Human Services she has been committed to a Holistic, Person Centered, Strengths and Evidenced Based, and Trauma informed care for her clients by providing a warm, empathetic, and collaborative space to empower them to improve the quality of their life. Her background includes working with children and adolescents and families, juvenile delinquents, those on the Autism Spectrum, Children and Adults with Developmental Challenges, Adults with Severe and persistent mental illness, Mood disorders, Co-Occurring disorders, the LGBTQ population, Crisis Intervention, special populations of pregnant women with Substance Abuse, and those with Substance Abuse. She utilizes a variety of approaches which include Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Harm Reduction. She has facilitated groups in Anger Management, Life Skills, Harm Reduction, and Relapse Prevention.
