Natosha Frisby is a graduate of Delaware State University with a Master’s Degree in Social Work and Education. She has a passion for servicing adults, adolescents, and children. Her experience includes providing trauma-based informed care, specializing in domestic and physical abuse. While working with clients she provides evidenced-based treatments to effectively assist in the reduction of anxiety, depression, emotional and behavioral issues, grief/loss, and mood/personality related symptoms. Her theoretical approach centers on a strength-based perspective and mindfulness approach to help clients realize their goals. Stemming from experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings, Natosha uses narrative therapy and psychoeducation to build rapport with clients to assist in developing effective communication and coping skills.
Natosha’s philosophy of treatment is based upon the old Proverb which states, “It takes a village” that identifies the unity which transpires, when a community of people come together to help each other grow in a safe and healthy environment. Natosha aspires to work collaboratively with her clients to develop problem-solving skills and strengthen focused techniques that can be translated to empower their lives.
